Great House Motel - Sequim

The standards of this so-called Great House Motel are woefully low. Among the many issues-insufficient cleaning resulted in hiding dust bunnies under my bed, and the front door barely closed without awkwardly lifting it. I was also overlooked for an upgrade, despite clearly deserving one after this travesty. Wanted to give a good review, but just couldn't.

Thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay on a road trip. The location of this hotel was good and absolutely perfect. We could drink something at The Oasis Bar & Grill, located 1 km away. Had good sleep at the double room with snacks, comfy beds, for instance;))

Room was tastefully decorated and cozy and available with complimentary fruit & Starbucks Frappuccino and a friend's bedroom, as for instance. The location of the hotel was favourable, close to the centre of town.

The shower in the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, great for a comfortable experience .

The heating system in the room seemed to struggle with temperature regulation as it fluctuated frequently, disrupting my comfort.

The staff is attentive, and the owner too.

We were in an exceptionally nice location within easy walking distance of Over the Fence...

A Comfortable Stay with Great Amenities

Despite some issues, I enjoyed my stay. The in-window air conditioning efficiently cooled the room. I appreciated the nice hot shower after a long day. For future guests, be sure to check that the door closes properly and bring earplugs for the AC noise.

Consider requesting extra towels upon check-in for added convenience while using the amenities.

We had an easy check-in, the room was neat and attractive with complimentary fruit & starbucks frappuccino. The location was comfy, near to to Olympic National Park Hurricane Ridge area, restaurants and the national park.

The interior surprised me with its cleanliness given the exterior's divey vibe, which I found to be a pleasant twist. The shower felt spacious, delivering nice hot water when I needed it.

The room felt a bit shabby and outdated despite being functional, with a bathroom that seemed cramped compared to the rest of the space. The air conditioning unit created an issue by blocking the long curtain, which let in a bright parking lot light. A minor inconvenience was having to move the coffee maker to find a power socket, as it was inexplicably placed on the table without one nearby.

I loved how comfortable the bed was ! The room had spare pillows. Plus, the handy table and chairs allowed for a perfect spot to enjoy meals or work.

I appreciated the clean room and the comfortable beds with a good night's rest. The location was convenient for exploring Sequim, and I particularly enjoyed the accessibility features, like the handheld shower head that catered to my needs.

Parking can be limited.

The room was spacious and allowed for comfortable movement, which we greatly appreciated.

The bathroom felt cramped and could benefit from a bit more space for better functionality.

Free parking and Wi-Fi were great, but air conditioning was noisy at night.

The motel had a spacious feel, perfect for our large family. With my grandchild along, we enjoyed visiting the nearby parks on sunny days and the lovely pool area. The staff was friendly.

My children wished for a larger area to play outside.
